In Bloom at Botanica: Fringed Tulip
See what's in bloom this week:
Botanical Name: Tulip ‘Valery Gergiev’
Where: Sally Stone Sensory Garden
Description: This red fringed tulip is a new bulb variety for Botanica this season. It is supposed to be a late bloomer, but our warm temperatures combined with the nice moisture have moved it ahead of normal timing.
Growing Tips: Prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
Uses: Tulips make an awesome display of color in the spring landscape.
Also blooming: Virginia Blue Bells, Spring shrubs, Lenten Rose and, of course, more Tulips.
